Search in separate process: only allow one instance

I find the feature of search in a separate process one of the most useful recent additions in Total Commander. However, one small annoyance that I have is that I always end up with multiple instances of the search window.

When I perform a search and click on a file in the search results, or click on "feed to listbox", this brings the focus back to the main Total Commander window. The search window, however, is still open in the background and consequently I forget about it. Then later, if I want to do a new search, a new search process is opened. This often ends up in having multiple search windows open.

Would it be possible to only allow one instance of the search process? So that if I do a new search, the previous search instance is replaced? Or alternatively, if I click on a file in the search results, the search window is automatically closed?

I will consider it. Currently the old searches are kept so you can return to them if you want to handle more than one file.

I'm for an option, that should satisfy both the above, to close the search window upon 'feed to listbox'.

This should be configurable to 'always on' or 'not always on' in wincmd.ini

Hope that is not too much work but feel it would make a much better use of the search in separate process.
