I have a lot of hardlinks on my drive, and I make more when new files with the same content appear.

It would be nice if Total Commander "Find duplicate files" could help here.
When "by content" in Find duplicate files selected, TC can offer an option to find only 1 file with already present hardlink, per same-content files group, while other files in the group to be without hardlinks.

In this case it will be easy to use button with 3rd party utility to convert other same-content files to hardliks to already hardlinked file.

It will be even more easier when panel with groups of same-content files will have custom columns with hardlink count and first target in it. Next suggestion, if implemended, will help much here: http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=43003
