FTP: passive download: Connect call failed, why?

I'm able do use ftp with passive server proxy but not to download: "Connect call failed". Why?

Do you get directory lists (list of files in a directory)? It uses the same download mechanism as file downloads.

You need to use full URL including http:// prefix in Ctrl+N. If you have a http proxy, you need to set it separately after entering the URL in the Ctrl+N dialog.

I do so but it not work here: Http - Connect call failed!

It means that TC could get the server name, but connecting to the address failed.

Could you try a known simple url like
http://www.ghisler.com
?

If this fails too, it means that the access is blocked, probably by a firewall.
