Hi there,

I suggested many years ago this idea, but it has never been implemented. I would like to suggest it once more since it would be a great and simple (?) feature to put into TC.

I suggest that it should be possible to add a background colour to the windows for a corresponding "letter drive". It will be very useful especially when making backups. This way it could be visually easier not to mix up which drive that is the "master".

With the TwinKey util you can define background color or picture
depending on certain conditions.

Very interesting

Spend some time looking at it, but it seems a bit complex after my opinion. I would really like if TC was able to do it directly. Right now it almost has the possibility through Config -> Options -> Colors. Here you can set a color to a file extension, so now it only misses the "folder" color possibility (incl. color for FTP (0:, 1: etc).

There are rumours that background color and/or picture will be the native TC feature in version 9

Any rumours on when TC9 is released?
