Using counter in multiple rename over several directories

If I select , say Folder1 and Folder2, and do a search for *.doc. And in multi-rename I use [C] over the whole set of search results I get the following:
Folder 1
001.doc
002.doc
Folder 2
003.doc
004.doc

Is there a way of telling TC to reset the counter when it hits a new folder?
So that I get
Folder 1
001.doc
002.doc
Folder 2
001.doc
002.doc
