Directory tree popup when 'Copy/Move' dialog is displayed?

Post by *Valery_Kondakoff »

Hi!

Can you please, explain: how to open the directory tree with a directory from my source tab selected when 'Copy/Move' dialog is displayed?

For example, the folder 'c:\my documents\test' is displayed on my source tab, the directory 'c:\program files' is displayed on my target tab. When I press 'F5' and 'Alt-F10' the directory tree popup is displayed with 'c:\program files' selected. But I want the directory tree popup to be displayed with 'c:\my documents\test' selected. Is this possible?

I was pretty sure, there is some keyboard shortcut or internal command to specify which folder needs to be selected in directory tree popup. The most obvious way is to use 'F10' if you want to see directory tree based on a folder, which is displayed on a target tab and 'Shift-F10' if you want to see directory tree based on a folder displayed on a source tab...

Is this impossible or am I missing something?

Thank you!

Move to c:\my documents\test in both panels and it will work.
But, if I understand you right, if you want to copy one file to the same directory (make a copy) you could just use Shift-F5.
