Keep supervisor privilages for tab

Hi!
I've been dealing with copying file from an old backup of my system. But it's a rather frustrating experience, unless I start TC in admin mode.
While I navigate (into restricted folders) I get promted for admin rights. Which is fine. But a bunch of things are not working after it.
I can't CD into such folders. The icons are not loaded. I get re-prompted if I try to copy and all sorts of annoyances.
Starting TC with admin rights avoids this. But it's less than safe. (Especially if someone's forgetful...) Even more so that programs started from TC seems to inherit admin privileges.
