How to show check box [x] like windows explorer?

Hello.
I am a newbie for Total Commander from today. What I am wondering is that how to show check box like default windows explorer.
I have checked every configuration menu, but have not been able to find it. Need help. My TC version is 8.52a desktop installer.

There are no checkbox in TC for selecting files, you only have two mouse selection modes (LMB/RMB). In RMB mode right click on a file selects/deselects it, in LMB mode you can enable selecting by clicking file icons.

Yes but it is easier to do a RMB click onto any file rectangle part. I usually disable select on click because I mostly click for focusing or executing file, or I may accidentally click file icon while making panel active (because clicking/doubleclicking icon never causes rename) -- so it is more confusing than helpful here.
