unattended install

Problem with unattended install and [install] field in install.inf.

When I do a fully unattended install everything works well!

But when I add a file to this field ([install]) I get the following error when I
try to install Total Commander:

Code: Select all

Error reading C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\$wc0\test.txt!
Disk may be defective!

The file I added to this field is in the install package (tcmd603a.exe).
When I look in the temporary folder (temp\$wc0) I can see this file and
even open it!

I already took a look at these two topics:

but I can't seem to figure it out!

oops ,

I just copied the first entry and changed that
resulting in: 2=test.txt,c and I forgot to delete the ,c.

Two characters kept me busy for a couple of hours!

Now I wonder if its possible to copy those files into a
sub-directory of Total Commander, like Plugins.

I you allready had a TC installed try use Ctrl-PgDn and recover the install.inf file from install package (tcmd603a.exe). After that adjust the file according your prefferences.
Ghisler also suggest to install manualy TC in readme.txt file.
