HOME key in Lister

Post by *Jqn »

Hi,
When I use Home key in Lister (internal or external), it goes to first line. This is OK.

But if I've reading long lines and I not use wordwrap feature, when I press Home, Lister shows a blank window.
Then I must scroll manually to fist column.

In this case I think it must work in this way:
The first time I press the key it must goes the first column in same line.
The second time it must work like now, goes to first line.

MORE with Lister:

I've a big monitor display (19").
When I press F3 in some file for viewing it with Lister, I lost a lot of time (0.03 ms) looking for the window. Lister open it at new location every time, and I not know where.

It's possible to locate window for open it at SAME location everytime?.

To open Lister always where you want :

Open it once and place it where you want. Then Option->Save Position, close Lister...

Lister will now be loaded at the same place...

Thanks you.
Longtime ago, I already had used this trick, but I had forgotten it.
