MSCab multiarc addon

Post by *DrStrange »

I have installed the MSCab multiarc addon but when I do a search in TC, I get lots of window popups stating "This is not a valid CAB archive" followed by a second popup stating the errorlevel code. I have managed to switch off the second popup but who knows if there is a switch for the first popup?

It gets very annoying after 10 or so popups having to select "OK" :(

Maybe you could disable this plugin for search? TC searches in Microsoft *.cab without any plugin since at least 4.51 and ignores files with cab extension that aren't microsoft cabs (I renamed a textfile to *.cab to try it).

I had once a similar problem with the dbx-plugin for Microsoft mailboxes.

Thanks for your help. The author of MSCab has kindly sent me a new version :D , MSCab 0.63a, with a new -lq switch for supressing the "not a valid MSCab archive" and this works great when you also the %E2 in multiarc.ini to stop the errorlevel popup.
