CTRL+D (Directory Hot List) doesn't work after windows crash

Post by *JaumeGS »

Hi.
After a Windows10 crash and get a BSOD, the CTR+D shortcut that opens de Directory Hot List has stop working.

The Directory Hot List is a very important and usefult feature for me, and I've added the ALT+D shourt cut to call the command cm_DirectoryHotList
and it works ok. But I want to recover the CTRL+D shortcut.

Any help really appreciated ;)

If you still have the default mapping, ctrl+D -> cm_directoryhotlist
Just in case, you can redefine it to as you did for Alt + D.

If you you have no effect, that means that another process registered the hotkey globally..
You can try to find which one using http://www.tranglos.com/activehotkeys and un-assign it.

Does the hotlist open when you click on the button "*"?

I still have the default mappnig (CTRL+D) active.
I have executed the Ethervane ActiveHotkeys, and effectively the CTRL+D is registered. I will try to find wich is the process.
Thanks a lot for the help

Problem solved!
After the windows crash, a installed program had the ini file corrupted and catch the CTRL+D combination by default.

I have disabled the keys shortcut in the program, and the Total Commanded Ctrl+D works agains. Thanks!

And which other program registers Ctrl+D by default? Knowing this could help others with the same or a similar issue in the future.
