Thumbnails for videoclips not showing

Hello. As the subject says, video files does not display any thumbnail (MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV, any video file).

Explorer show them just fine:

I'm using TotalCMD 32-bit, Windows 10 and this is the thumbnail configuration:

You are running TC with higher user rights (as administrator). You can see that by the '^' character in the title bar.

Try to run it with normal user rights:
1. Right click on the icon by which you start Total Commander
2. If it is the icon in the task bar at the bottom, you need to right
click AGAIN, this time on the menu item "Total Commander"
3. Click on "Properties"
4. Click on "Advanced" and uncheck "Run as Administrator" if it's
checked
5. Go to the "Compatibility" tab and also uncheck "Run as Administrator"
if it's checked
6. Close and re-open Total Commander

I assume you are using a 64 bit Windows (and a 64 Bit Windows Explorer!).
Does it work with Total Commander 64-Bit version?
It might be a priority conflict between a 32 bit thumbnail provider and the wmp11 thumbnail provider.

Also: Windows 1803 has a bug in it's thumbnail provider preventing thumbnails extraction and the details property page for some movies: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/mkv-files-not-loading-and-displaying-thumbnails-in/5db0e802-67f6-423d-894c-d902ff580302
So it could be that the Thumbnails in explorer are from the thumbnail cache created before the 1803 upgrade..

It took me some time, but I have actually tested TC Thumbnails for several AVI, MKV, Mp4 etc. in many combinations:

Windows 10 x64 version 1803 update 10.0.17134.228
Windows 8.1 x64 with latest Windows updates
(also tested media file thumbnails through network drives)
TC 9.21a x32 (normal and elevated)
TC 9.21a x64 (normal and elevated)

No problems. All thumbs is shown.

So.. a Windows setting perhaps?
