Passing command line switches to external viewer

When setting up external viewer options it would be useful to pass command line switches to the external viewer, but the dialogue will not accept them.

I was trying to set up winword.exe with the /embedding switch to see if it worked better as a Word docs viewer.
Right now I am using the old Wordviewe.exe which doesn't work all that well with the .docx format.
Doe anyone know of a better .doc* viewer?
