if you have many tabs open (to many to show them all in one window/panel) it gets quite cumbersome to get from the most left tab or center tab to the most right tab. you have to click the small arrow buttons many times to navigate to the left or the right.

in firefox you just hover over the tab bar and use the the mouse scroll wheel to scroll the tab bar horizontally.

would love to see such a feature in totalcommander.

You can use CTRL+Tab to cycle through the tabs - is that a help?

BTW - this is the third feature request you have made today - may I suggest that you in the future put requasts in the TC suggestions (English)

sadly not, this is also not a way to quickly come from left to right if you have 30+ open tabs per panel. just try it with firefox. open many tabs, make a mouseover and use the scrollwheel. thats the speed i am looking for.

CTRL + Tab only goes in 1 steps through the tabs, an additional shortcut + setting where i can define the steps count would also be awsome.

I second this request, even though I'm aware of (Shift+)CTRL+Tab to cycle through them, sometimes you happen to have the mouse and want to click/scroll through the tabs.

TwinKey has a nice tab list drop down menu by pressing Ctrl-Right-click on the Directory hotlist (*) entry

it's been suggested long time ago and more than a few times.
