Last time I noticed that it takes more releases and release candidates to get a stable release. Stay to the core business and don't add more almost not necessary features like Dark Mode in order to keep TC working smoothly.

TC 9.50 is working smoothly, that's why I didn't release a 9.50a. There are some minor problems which will be fixed in 9.51, but nothing which would cause any data loss.

I see that new features like Dark Mode give a lot a comments that it does not work well the first time. Don't give in to every wish.

vdijken,
Well, you can also look at it in the way that all the new file-management related features are stable and working well in 9.5 and it's only cosmetic stuff about the dark mode that needs a little adjustment here and there. There is really no need to rush a stable release, and that's valid for any software.

If you dont need or use Dark mode doesn't mean others have no need for it.
Your personal opinion will not drive software developement.

You are right, but I saw to much projects going wrong because every wish of the customer was fulfilled; some opposition should be appropriate. And that programs became a Moloch. And the maintenance was quite difficult I know by experience; especially when the documentation (design and manual) is not kept up-to-date, the code has less comment and the original developers were not available any more.
