Hello,
i have a directory full of files (workorders) and they get moved into a backup directory from time to time, which contains thousands of files.
Sometimes these workorders are edited/modified and those files arent the same anymore, but should still be moved, even though they have the same filename..
Is there a way i can compare both dirs, and if the filesize differs, the file gets marked so i can manually check which files have been modified before i can move them to the backup location?
thx in advance

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

If you move (or copy) files, you can chose to overwrite (or skip) the [current] or [all] files with the same filename.
See [Options >>] button in the Copy and Move-dialog.

true, but i want to confirm first which are duplicates and have a different filesize.
So, i just want them marked, not also copy/move them yet.

Then try menu "Mark > Compare Directories" for current folders,Bigbag666 wrote: 2020-05-30, 05:17 UTC true, but i want to confirm first which are duplicates and have a different filesize.

or menu "Commands > Synchronize Dirs... " for a whole folder structure.
