Button bar with a parameter including "?"

Hello,

I decided to use an external copy tool so I created a button bar with parameter: ?Copy *"%UL" "%T".
According to the manual:
? as the first parameter causes a Dialog box to be displayed before starting the program, containing the following parameters. You can change the parameters before starting the program. You can even prevent the program's execution

What I see in a Dialog box:
Copy *"C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\some.tmp" "d:\destination"
Suggestion:
What I would expect to see is a drop-down list with tmp file content - what I can modify.

Hi and welcome MareKW.

Thanks for your input, but isn't that rather an suggestion then an bug report?
Home Index Total Commander bugs and suggestions TC9.5x bug reports (English)

An moderator should move that thread to English discussing board first
and others probably will show you other ways to deal with your issue. OK?

What you probably meant was "What I'd like to see ..." because the quoted part from TC's help doesn't suggest such an expectation, not even remotely. Although this seems to be nit-picking, it's important to differentiate (reasonable) expectations from wishes/suggestions. Furthermore, %UL is built upon the selection in the file list, so this temporary file's content can already be modified by (un)selecting files/directories. I guess you would want to make modifications beyond that, e.g. changing file names, though I wonder what use case is behind that...

Dalai
