[TC 3.xx for Android] problem when exiting music player

Hello,

I have some tracks (1 song + some internet stream addresses) in my music queue. When exiting the ttcmd player, it keeps self-opening again and again. Exiting the main app (ttcmd for android) helps. I think this issue is there from ttcmd version 3.0 but I'm not sure.

My system is Honor 9, Oreo 8.0.

Regards,
Lukas

Could you give me more details, please?
1. How do you exit the player? Do you use the "X" button, or just the Android "go back" button or gesture?
2. How exactly did you open the player?

Hello, the issue is maybe because I have buggie stock android. Now, without phone restart, it is working well.
1. I'm exiting it with the red X or via the 3-dot menu.
2. Starting it via shortcut from the desktop.
I can send you small screenrecord if you are interested.
Regards, Lukas

What exactly do you mean by "it keeps self-opening again and again"? Dou you mean that player window appears after it was closed, or just player notification shows up in notification bar/drawer? It would be nice to see screenrecord of that...

Thanks for the video. I have tried it with your URL, but it doesn't happen here - the 'x' appears for 10 seconds so you can abort the closing, but then it stays closed. Does the music resume too when the icon reappears?

No, the music doesn't resume.
It happens when I press the Pause button first and the the red X.

On my Android 4.3.1 device, which has only 380 Mb of RAM, TC Media Player notofication also sometimes re-appears after it was closed with X button. or even whole TC was closed with internal command killprocess (155), but usually it happens when Android itself closes TC Media Player (playback stops, notification disappears) after using some heavily RAM-eating app(s) and then restarts it in a way that it just re-appears in notification, but playback doesn't resume. In older versions of TC, after such re-appearence, notification player buttons didn't work, which was fixed in TC4A v. 3.10 beta 9.

Maybe advanced Total Commander log, which records mainly TC Media Player events, will help to understand what is happening.
Here's how to create it: https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=350564#p350564 (the post is in German, but it should be clear what it says even without auto translation).
If after creating the log, restarting TC as suggested in that post, and using a player, nothing will be written to it, the restarting of TC by killing its process using internal command 155, or the device restart may help.
If you will wish to stop TC from writing to that log, delete the text file of the log, create folder with its name (including .txt extension) instead in the same location and restart TC.

My guess that it is a some kind of Android bug, or maybe an issue with Android launcher on particular device.

That would make sense, because when Android restarts an app, it restores all its notifications too.

Advanced Total Commander log attached from device emulator where is ttcmd v2.91 installed. It reapears 3 or 4 times there because ttcmd tries to connect to unacessible music stream source.

I could only download the log, I get error that I can only download one file per 24 hours for free. I will try to get the screen record tomorrow.

I can only see closing of the player via click on red "X", with 10 second countdown. Is there a problem with this?

Modern desktop Opera browser with its VPN feature active allows to download it without delay.

Hello, is it possible to get more verbose debug logging?
