F3 Would not activate the "MediaShow" Plug In - Wh

Post by *Peled »

I Love that simple quick and nevertheless nice PlugIn. maybe it is not an official one, but it worked great for me.
I Installed the new bersion 0.8.5 ( Out on May 31).
From :
http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/mediashow.html#comments
Now F3 would not activate it.
The PlugIn EXE file is working fine

Also The PlugIn Screen In the picture here seems to fine:

but all I get is the simple player:

I can confirm this also under Windows 2000 - I checked it in the debugger, Total Commander does call the ListLoad function of the plugin, but receives a NULL pointer back, meaning that the plugin cannot handle the file.

Now it is working.
I replaced all files with the ones from version 0.8.5
And it is still working.

Peled,

I have two questions for you:

1) When I hit F3 (for Media Show), it prompts "Restore Last Postion: Yes or No". I do not understand what the "last position" is. How can I skip that?

2) What key should I press to play mp3 songs? There must be a key which is equivalent to F3 for Media Show.

TIA. Cobras

1- It means : Do you want to play the file from the position (=time) you closed it during the last play
-> You can disable this message : Menu Tools->Time Position->Not Auto Save position ...

2- It's the same key (F3) to play song ...but you can use a different plugin for that (AmpView is not bad :) )
->You can switch with the "4" key (you already know that) but you can also "play" with "detect_string" (take a few time but have to be done only once => it's faster)...

It works. I noticed that the sound volume from mp3 player was much louder than that from Media Show. My quesiton is how to edit playlist for mp3 player. I coul load many mp3 files, but I could not delete any mp3 files from the playlist. Cobras
