Since the new options in the "Tabstops" configuration dialog now includes settings for "Separators" and "Date format" which also works in the Multi-Rename and the Synchronization tools (not for 4-digit year in the latter), I think that maybe the name of this dialog should be changed to something like "Tabstops and Date Formats" or "Tabstops and Date/Time Formats" or "Tabstops and Time Formats".

(to me the word Time includes Date, but Date does not necessarily include Time)

I don't think a newbie would look in "Tabstops" if he wants to change the Date/Time format.

The separators are not just for date and time, but also for sizes (thousands separator and decimal separator).
Maybe "Tabstops and formats" or "Tabstops and numeric formats" or "Tabstops and column formats"?

That's working in English, but in German "Tabulatoren und Spaltenformate" is already too wide for the tree in the configuration dialog.

I would vote for "Tabstops and Formats"

Tabstops is a pretty archaic typewriter term nowadays, IMO.

Yes it is (a programmer would call it correctly column header), but still in use in most word processors like MS Word, OpenOffice Writer, LibreOffice Writer, ...
And a lot of TC users may be used to this term.
What about:
"Tabstops and Formats" / "Tabulatoren und Formate"

or even swapping Custom columns and Folder Tabs to keep "columns" together would make sense imho

- Changing "Tabstops" to "Columns" would break some shortcuts like
Layout -> Show tabstop header

- Leave some archaic names in "wincmd.ini" (and "history.txt")
Tabstops=...
TabHeader=1 Show tabstop header for sorting above file lists
TabHeaderBoldArrow=1 Show bold arrows in tabstop header (default: same as TabHeaderThemed)
TabHeaderThemed=1 Use theme on tabstop headers
...

- And last but not least a lot of work for the help file and references in language files.

I will go with "Tabstops/Data Formats". This keeps Tabstops from older versions for compatibility, and uses a slash like other multi-theme pages like "Edit/View" and "Copy/Delete".
