[TC 10.50b4x32] Exclamation mark on inactive tab

Post by *CoolWater »

In dark mode, the exclamation mark should be moved one pixel to the left, in non dark mode, it should be moved one pixel to the right.

The non dark mode Exclamation mark location always slightly bothered me but I never thought to suggest a fix. Thanks.

A quick check seems to indicate that the location of the exclamation mark stays the same, but the * and title move by two pixels sideways. I will check why this is happening.

Thanks :-) But in non dark mode, the exclamation mark seems to be too close to the active tab. Therefore it should be moved one pixel to the right.

I'm using tab icons so I don't have this problem.

Fix for non dark mode confirmed in B5. In dark mode, the position of the exclamation mark remains unchanged. It should go one pixel to the left. See first screenshot.

It looks like I fixed in only in the 64-bit version in dark mode. I will check it.

I have checked it, the code is the same in TC 32-bit and 64-bit.
It's also exactly in the same location in dark mode and normal mode.
1. Could you post screenshots of beta 5 with the exact same tab with exclamation mark both for normal and dark mode?
2. Please also let me know which font you use for the main window.

Image: https://postimg.cc/5jFVfRKX (non dark mode) and Image: https://postimg.cc/XGY9w5hP (dark mode)

B5x32bit and Segoe UI 8 Bold selected as font for the main window.

As you also can see, in dark mode, the active tab is not left-aligned with the drive dropdown. Maybe this has an influence?
