yes, confirmed, but.... what si wrong on that? I think that message is 100% correct. How you can rename something what you cannot see? Or you mean there should be no error window?

the author consider it as bug the complete message "Please report this error to the author, with a description of what you were doing when this error occured!"

so i did what he ask

while panels above each other this error not occure so it must the same while panels side by side

Confirmed.

But with the Panels in vertical alignment there occurs the real error:

The selected file is focussed and you can rename it without seeing what happens.

Yeah but I wouldnt consider this as a bug - the bug here
is that you shouldnt be allowed to move/rename inside an
invisible panel ;-) - cause this a standrad delphi-error if
you the prg tries to focus something that is invisible :)

Maybe the renaming space should be force-focused for security reasons or a better error message should be applied.

The same problem is also true when you change TC from fullscreen to normal view.
I agree that being able to rename something that has no focus is not acceptable and very dangerous.

Actions like resizing window, moving spacer and the like should cancel inline renames at least if the target is out of view of course.
