With strikt rules 8)
- only one suggestion per thread
- forum-banning for everyone who suggests a feature, that already exists.

Why a new forum? Why not apply these rules for the existing forums? ;)

Okay, in the TC-wicki is such a section (for documentation?!)
But imho suggestions should be separated from general support things problems and "howcanIs".

Plus it should be only in english - like the plugins/addons

CADweazle,
suggestions should be separated from general support things problems and "howcanIs"
Who would separate them? And how would a newbie know if something is a feature request or if it is solved by SortUpper=2?
Plus it should be only in english
Certainly not. Why should only english-speaking users be allowed to place feature requests?

The user himself as he has a suggestion in mind.
If his request is already solved, he will get appropriate answers. Same way as in the "plugin/addon-forum"
Certainly not. Why should only english-speaking users be allowed to place feature requests?
Certainly? Why is the "plugin/addon"-forum only in English?
I guess the same reason(s!) would fit to this new forum!

The user himself as he has a suggestion in mind.
Many questions become suggestions in the process.
Certainly? Why is the "plugin/addon"-forum only in English?
Because it would be tough to have 12 different forums for 3 categories, I guess.

How about an open Bug Tracking System, like Flyspray used by TortoiseSVN? I think Christian had something against it, like "the competition would know what his plans are" or similar. If the Bug Tracking System would be open for anyone, it could become a mess like the forum, and wiki is actually an adequate substitute, if Christian would maintain it, then the above statement cancels it. Hmm.
But just check it out how coll such a BTS is.

Besides the fact, that my suggestion wasn't considered for more than one year... did you ever hear about something called "irony" expressed by emoticons?? (Warning, this last sentence is thought to be ironically too!! ;))

Imho there's no need at all for a new forum, we'll symply waste our time having to visit it from time to time.
