Hi,
for some folders I use view modes (with auto switch and tab color) to give me a clear visual indication that I am in an "important" folder. But sometimes the display with separate background color is too intrusive for me. It would be nice if I could select a PNG file with transparency for a view mode instead (incl. dim factor setting), e.g. a simple PNG clipart.
This could then look like here in the screenshot (e.g. my OneDrive folder).
Would this be of interest for others? And technically feasible?

Thx, Stefan

Re: use image as background for view mode
Not feasable, sorry. When you scroll a listbox by one line, only the newly visible line has to be drawn - the rest of the list is shifted up by the display driver. This cannot be done when there is a fixed position background image. Then the entire list has to be redrawn.
