Pack dialog: Fast selection of parts of the file name

When opening the pack dialog, the text box for the (suggested) file name is active and the entire text is selected.

Similar to inplace renaming of files in the file panel (F2), it would be great to also support F2 in the pack dialog:
Select file name + ext + path --> Select just the file name (w/o ext) --> Select file name + ext --> repeat

Imho, selecting just the file name (w/o ext) should be the default when opening the dialog...
