TC 32-bit - defined custom columns disappear when editing after language change

Post by *Usher »

1. Install more than one language in TC and run TC32-bit with fresh ini.
2. Open Options, go to Custom columns, define at least one view and click Apply.
3. Go to Language, change it, click Apply, go back to Custom columns to ensure that your custom views are really saved.
4. Go to Language again, change it again and click Apply.
5. Go to Custom columns once more and click Edit. You should see wrong view and wrong number: -99 rather than expected view number 1, 2, etc.
6. Press Esc or click "Cancel" button. All defined views should disappear.

Tested with 32-bit TC in Windows XP and Windows 7.

Confirmed using TC10.50rc2 32-bit (and confirmed since version 7.0, version 6.50-6.58 seem to work OK).
64-bit is OK (since first 64-bit version).

I have analyzed it: It happens because the item chosen in "Configure columns for file system" was lost when changing language. When you choose <General> there, it will work again. The columns are not actually lost.

I will reset the index after changing the language.
