Make default path for Lister's File > Open... more intuitive

Lister is often used to view current file under cursor by F3, but it has its own File > Open... menu. However, the default path (working folder) for this dialog is not always changed as it may be expected and easily predicted.

Currently it shows the last path which has been changed in TC panels by direct changing or changing the tab in multi-tab panel, but ignores the file marker position. In other words, if we open Lister by F3 and then use its File, Open... dialog:
  • changing the folder by moving up/down shows this folder in Lister dialog;
  • changing the folder by selecting another tab in multi-tab panel shows folder of active tab in Lister dialog;
  • updating the folder by Reread source button or menu shows folder with marker in Lister dialog;
  • moving the marker from left to right panel or back by mouse or Tab key does not affect path in Lister dialog, it memorises the last changed (or re-read) path.
From my point, more logical is if the Lister's Open dialog would always follow the marker first, so Lister will offer to open the files in the same place where it was called by F3. After opening, the Lister may ignore current active TC folder and continue working independently, keeping initial path until closing, or may work as now, following the new or re-read folder. In any case, it would be more intuitive.

Thanks for this reference, I haven't found it!
As I see, that discussion isn't completely finished, maybe some time later...
