MULTIRENAME= don't work as cm_MultiRenameFiles

Post by *Galizza »

Hi, i don't know if this is by design or a bug.

If i select multiple files and press a button on buttonbar that lauch
cm_MultiRenameFiles, Multi-Rename Tool window show all selected files,
but if select same files and press a button that launch MULTIRENAME=UpperCase
then selected files are not shown on Multi-Rename Tool window,
is this a bug or by design ?, thanks.

Help - Dialog box: Configuration - Change button bar wrote: MULTIRENAME saved_rename_settings opens the multi-rename tool with the specified settings. An equal sign "=" in front of the name will start the renaming immediately if the settings can be loaded, two equal signs will close the multi-rename tool if there were no errors.
When you use "=", the renaming starts immediately and the list only shows the names of the files that could not be renamed.

Have you saved a renane setup (press F2) with the name UpperCase?

Also - skip the = if you want to see the list first.
