[TC10.52rc1] 2 separate trees, folder not shown in separate tree if tree is collapsed completely

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[TC10.52rc1] 2 separate trees, folder not shown in separate tree if tree is collapsed completely

Post by *white »

  • Enable two Separate Trees (Ctrl+Shift+F8, repeat if necessary)
  • In the right separate tree, click Desktop and press the left arrow key <- to completely collapse the folder tree
  • Make the left panel active and go to some folder, select a file or folder and press Ctrl+right
The folder is opened in the right panel, but not shown in the right separate tree.

Confirmed - also happen opposite in the left panel.

Also - once the top Destop item is fully collapsed, no navigation in the file panel will open it again (both with one or two trees) - this also applies to the file panel tree. Maybe it is a feature?

I prefer to keep it this way, it's a convenient way to temporarily disable the tree without hiding its window.

It isn't disabled (it is still being updated), it is only collapsed.

Reason: added clarification that it is still being updated
