SVGView with bad resolution

Post by *Peter »

I use http://totalcmd.net/plugring/svgview.html, and at first view the image looks OK. But when I zoom in, it is very pixelated. It seems that the conversion is only fitted to the starting zoom factor ..

Is it possible to refresh / to reconvert the data after zooming?

This command always re-zooms to the entire space of the file, fitted to window or screen or ...
But it does not reload to the current zoom size ...

If you want to use IrfanView for .svg files, you need to add *.svg to the settings: "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Edit/View" -> "Configure internal viewer" (button) -> "Multimedia" (tab) -> "Additional Irfanview/Xnview file types:"

Or add it manually to the IviewAdditionalTypes parameter in the [Lister] section of your wincmd.ini file.

When calling IrfanView from Lister you should expect similar results as described in the original post - Lister resizes BITMAP picture passed from IV. Using IV directly (associating svg with IV) you should get better results.

The svgview plugin seems to resize bitmap when using Num- and Num+ keys for zooming. Hovewer, you can get better results when starting from picture in large size, f.e. window size (press W) and then resizing down with Num- key.
