Hi Mr. Ghissler

I am using TC for ages - THANX ! for having just one click to use TC for a por man.

I do a suggestion again:

-----------------

These days we are keen on saving money an collect the advertisers of our local discounters / shops etc. etc.

With our browsers the do " materialize " in our desired " download-directory ".
Lets say in switzerland it would be denner, aldi an so on ...

Once we have finished the downloads, especially me, we want to move them to a specific folder.
Lets say ::: Offers for calender week no. xy

In TC i can select " aldi , Lidl, Rewe and Kaufland " - files ( u get it , i think )
AND drag these by mouse to a desirer folder

I DO !
I DRAG FILES with my mouse ONTO A FOLDERs Entry!

->>>>>
A dialog pops up !!! A interface !!! ( what, and how tc should do ... )
==========================================================
// copies xy files to
folder

BUTTONS with

" OK " " F2 Warteschlange " " Tree " " Cancel "
// and checkboxes for some other features //

==========================================================

Would NOT IT BE NICE
to have ON TOP

a Selector for COPY or MOVE ( Button ! )

for this operation ?!?!?!?!?!?!

This will not work with the right button selection mode.

I know, but this is not the default mode, so it works for many users :)

You're wrong. See UseRightButton=1 in the help.

Drag with the left mouse button to desirer folder and press the right mouse button (or Shift) to select "–" (Move).

Add:
TOTALCMD.CHM wrote: Examples for Drag&Drop:

Keep the ALT or SHIFT key depressed to move the files instead of copying them. This will be shown by a minus (-) sign in the drag cursor. Hold down the right mouse button before releasing the left button, then release the left button first to move the files!

You are right :o
Must be the old brain as I started using Windows Commander (TCs old name)
with Windows 3.11 for Workgroups and I never used the right mouse selection since this.

The first thing I liked when I got acquainted with WC was the quick selection of the list with RMB. And since then I haven't even thought about changing it. ;)

Other ways (drag and drop is also suitable):
