Define Selection window question

Post by *wanderer »

At the "Define selection" window, i would like to filter all code files (i.e. *.cs) in a path and its subfolders. I would also like to exclude "bin" and "obj" subfolders, so i have entered this string:

*. cs | bin\* obj\*

Apparently though, this excludes all .cs files from the first level after "bin" and "obj", not their subfolders. I also tried the following two, without success:

*. cs | bin obj
*. cs | \bin \obj

How can i completely exclude those two folders and whatever is under them?

EDIT: I don't think that it matters but i'm trying to use this selection in the Sync Dirs window.

Oh, great... My eyes saw it in help but for some reason, my mind chose to ignore it...

Solution: *. cs | bin\ obj\
