How to build a Own Total Commander Distro ?

Post by *krisium »

Hello,
Maybe you can help me or show me the correct topic for that?
I would you like to create my own Total Commander package.
Where all apps and settings would be installed already.
And the next time when i need to install Total, everything will be already there.

Thank you!

No special tools needed, if you do it as I do since ages.
Make a portable installation into a writeable tree like c:\tools\wincmd
Add the following line in yout wincmd.ini
UseIniInProgramDir=7
Install all plugins using %COMMANDER_PATH%\plugins as base dir.

This way you can move the whole tree to any other writeable dir and start from it.
Backup and restore the full tree as you like and you are done.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3447)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1372a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.3, Listary Pro 6.3.0.73
QAP 11.6.3.2 x64
