Deleting large number of small files and Everything

When deleting a large number of small files from a folder, Total Commander starts taking a long time to count the size of the directory. But, if you enable Everything, why do it, can't you take data about the size of the directory to be deleted directly from Everything?

I found "Everything" to be too unreliable for counting before copying or deleting.

I think counting before copying or deleting doesn't have to be 100% accurate, and folder contents may be changed during the operation anyway, so perhaps Everything may be helpful here... Counting is a helper operation so it shouldn't be too long.
