SFTP, using SCP for everything, and directories with $

Post by *ulisov »

When I connect to my linux system with "Secure FTP" and select "use SCP for everything", and then open a folder called "$WWW" or "$WinREAgent" it is an endless loop of the same folder names within that folder. Same for synchronizing folders, an endless loop. It doesn't happen if I turn off "use SCP for everything".

It sounds like $WWW is being resolved to an environment variable...

It seems to be any folder starting with $, the problem doesn't happen with "X$WWW" folder, but does with "$A" "$B" ...
