[11.00b] Hotkeys for cm_ShowCmdLineHistory also perform original function

Post by *Flint »

1. Assign to the command cm_ShowCmdLineHistory a hotkey that's already used for some function in TC panels, but not in the command line itself; I tried with Ctrl+B and Ctrl+L.
2. Press this hotkey once - the command line history popup appears.
3. Press the same hotkey again.
4. The history closes, but at the same time the original hotkey's function is performed (for Ctrl+B toggling branch view; for Ctrl+L displaying the size info).

Tested in TC 11.00b7 32- and 64-bit.

P. S. I also tried Ctrl+A, but when the history is opened, the focus is in the command line, and Ctrl+A selects all text there. So the assignment works only for opening the history, but not for closing it. I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended behavior. On the one hand, hotkeys working in the input box of the command line might be expected to continue working. On the other hand, if the user reassigned the hotkey for managing the history popup, he/she will probably expect it to work as assigned instead of performing its original functions. So I'm not sure what's the best approach here.
