sync dirs: memory of previously used path in field "where to copy"

Post by *oko »

In sync dir in synchronise window I must put the path in field where should be files copied again and again. The field could be listbox where the last path could be choosen.

Why ?
Normally one has a target and a target window on both sides of TC
and then starts synchronize dirs.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3527)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86

Are you talking about the field marked as 1 or 2 in this screenshot? https://tcmd.madsenworld.dk/synctarget.png

I could see the idea in having it in 2 - in case you often want to copy to a directory, different from the one you compared with.

I talk about the 2 in the screenshot. After user click "Synchronize" in sync dir list, the window shown has two fields (from left to right and right to left) where user can put "redirection" path where files have to be copied.

Common synchronizing is between source and target (left and right), but if you want to copy files (marked to synchronize) to other destination redirection path is needed (files will be redirected and saved to folder out of source or target). I use it repeatedly, so it would be much more comfortable to select the last used path from list, not manually put it again and again in the field.
