It scrolls, it doesn't scroll. I don't understand what it depends on. Okay, I'll try it differently and get back to the revision 1.3. There is something about the newer versions of SumatraPDF that I can't understand yet.

OK, that's it for me until further notice.
Now I'll wait until your SumatraPDF works - and then test again.

I must correct me.
The current pre-release version pages through a file using the N and P keys just fine.
Only the plugin doesn't do it.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3527)

This file will be overwritten during an update (e.g. after using wlx_TCSumatraPDF_1.5b3.7z):
%COMMANDER_PATH%\Plugins\wlx\TCSumatraPDF\SumatraPDF_3.1mod\SumatraPDF-settings.txt
This is my customized settings file(!).

For me, for example, this has the following effect:

Code: Select all

- UiLanguage = ru (Default setting is applied)
- UiLanguage = de (my setting; en = English)
Maybe you can set this up in the future so that this file is NOT overwritten during an upgrade.
Thanks!

It's clear. I thought this folder was just an archive. Of course I will remove the settings file so that it is not overwritten.

You're right. It's just that for some reason I flip through, then not. This is without a plugin.

I still have one suggestion:
I would appreciate it if you could release a stable version first.

After that you can always work on another version for pre-releases.

TCSumatraPDF Plugin 1.4
Downloaded: 5050 times 13.07.2023 12:50
Downloaded: 5225 times 15.07.2023 18:45

Version 1.4 is stable. I just had an idea to add new functionality.

It depends on how you look at it.

viewtopic.php?p=436891#p436891
4: Digit 4 Switch to the next plugin -> no longer works immediately!
- Test from today: F3, Digit 4 does not change to the next plugin in x64.

viewtopic.php?p=436921#p436921
- Files are overwritten

x64
- 1 PDF file: 'N' scrolls forward 2 pages, 'P' scrolls back 2 pages
- Multiple PDF files: 'N' and 'P' Switch to next PDF file does not work.

x86
- Ctrl+Q, Tab, 4 then Stop
- Test from today: F3, Digit 4 does not change to the next plugin in x86
- Multiple PDF files: 'N' and 'P' Switch to next PDF file does not work.

The best version so far, in my opinion, wlx_TCSumatraPDF_1.5b3.7z is no longer downloadable,
because you have already moved it to the trash!.

In my opinion you should have offered this version for download instead of version 1.4.
TCSumatraPDF 1.5b3 -> TCSumatraPDF Plugin 1.5 -> Official releases of SumatraPDF
TCSumatraPDF 1.6      -> TCSumatraPDF Plugin 1.6 -> Official versions including pre-releases of SumatraPDF

I'm really starting to think I'm in the wrong movie.
One insists on a fix for a flawed trial version.
The other one throws the best version in the trash.

I will then report back until someone tells me that this test scenario has been met:
1. Ctrl+Q, Cursor up/down, Ctrl+Q
2. Ctr+Q,Tab,4,4,4..., Ctrl+Q
3. F3: Lister (sumatrapdf), ESC
4. F3: Lister (sumatrapdf), 4,4,4,..., ESC
5. Mark one PDF file -> F3: Lister (sumatrapdf): 'N' (next pdf page), 'P' (previous pdf page)
6. Mark more than one PDF file -> F3: Lister (sumatrapdf): 'N' (next pdf file), 'P' (previous pdf file), ESC

Until then I use TCSumatraPDF_1.5b3.

I'm taking a break now and won't be making any comments or suggestions here until further notice.
I have the feeling that we are just going around in circles.

Finally released the final version. Now everything should work. While I do not spread it on the Internet, as there is one problem that I would like to solve. Completely changed the description. I would like to hear your opinion.

I'm impressed and happy :D
This version does all I always requested.

All keys are working.
- The keys N and P select the next / previous file if there is a selection.
- If on a single file, N and P page through the file.
- The key 4 switches to the next plugin.

And the best it works with the actual pre-release version of SumatraPDF
using my unchanged settings.

I had no doubt that it would be possible to do it :) It's just a matter of time. There is one bug. If you quickly flip through heavy files, a separate SumatraPDF is launched. So far it has not been possible to fix this problem. Most likely I will upload this version, and then try to fix the bug.

If there are bookmarks and point 4 is in them, '4' is also used to navigate through the bookmarks.

I can live with it :)
Thanks for all your efforts.
The key 4 is not so important for me,
as we have the Plugins menu which allows to directly switch to any plugin.

TC x64 ver 10.52 or 11.0 RC1 + SumatraPDF.wlx64 1.5

1. [F3] on any PDF, play with [4] button.
2. [Esc].
3. cm_UnloadPlugins.
4. TC hangs with no response...

Now you can only do "taskkill /f /im totalcmd64.exe" without any choices.
Ukrainian Total Commander Translator. Feedback and discuss.
