32bit TC rc1: Same, even worse. Every try is a problem, BUT only if I select 2 or more (randomly chosen).

I did a test on a old laptop Intel T3400 with Windows 10 Home x64 and TC64 beta 10. After two tries, same problem(when I delete only two or more files at the same time). AV and Firewall are from Microsoft (default). Dialog windows appears while files are deleted. Same as I told in my first post.

PS Laptop has 256GB SSD NTFS

I couldn't reproduce it so far. Does it matter whether you delete to recycle bin or directly?

When is that seeking dialog displayed?
It's displayed when TC is counting the number of files to be deleted (going through all selected subdirectories). It makes no sense that it would appear in branch view because there are no subdirectories shown in branch view.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but please do :)
If possible publish a link to a video on your google drive or provide step-by-step instructions.

I have been able to reproduce it.
* I enabled recycle bin for drive D: with no confirmation before deletion.
* Default settings for Total Commander
* Start TC as administrator
* Branch view in the right panel with 105626 files
* Select some files and delete.
* Sometimes the Seeking window stays.

I don't know which steps are mandatory. I couldn't reproduce it in non-elevated mode, but I'm not sure it is related.

Thanks, I was able to reproduce it as administrator, although it shouldn't have any influence. The reason is that TC aborted the vista delete method because it can't handle groups of files from separate directories, and switched to a different delete function. Due to timing problems, the progress dialog of the first (aborted) function could be closed after opening the progress dialog of the second function, leaving 2 progress dialogs on screen at the same time.

The new RC2 doesn't have the problem anymore (so far, after many tries).
