Button bar: new command to search and then goto an button

Post by *nsp »

Idea is to be able to search for command/parameter/tooltip with r-click on current button bar. cm_GotoButtonNr <button number> could be also provided to highlight and focus to button Nr. cm_GotoButtonNrV <button number> the same for vertical bar.

This is not the same, current suggestion is only a way to navigate but not to launch.

So perhaps a "better" name for the suggested command would be:

cm_FocusButtonNr
cm_FocusButtonNrV
F4MiniMenu (Forum) - Open selected file(s) from TC in defined editor(s) - A (minimalistic) clone of F4Menu
Source at GitHub (AutoHotkey). TCSyncComments (copy file comments)

Why do you need navigation without clicking?

To reorganize and visually identify the button. (I often put too many button in a bar)

That is, do you want the context menu of the desired button to be shown immediately? I believe that my request with the tooltip is more usable, because you don't have to enter a command with the desired number into the command line in such situations every time. It will be faster to find the button by moving the mouse cursor to the number and right-click.

And only from there we can take it, so that we can then look for it on the toolbar. 🤷‍♂️
