Feature Request: Tappable column headers to sort

I know that you can select the sort mode of the file display by tapping the button in the button bar, but I offer this as a usability Improvement suggestion. Sometimes the current method is a little awkward..

Add a small row at the top for the file display with column headers that can be quickly tapped to sort the file list by filename, extension, size, and date/time. Tapping a column header once would sort by ascending, while tapping the same column again with toggle to sort by descending.

Make it optional, that can be turned on/off in the settings.

Have you already tried to click at the column header? ... note the little arrow in the column header?

You are thinking of the Windows version. This is the Android forum.

You can add the most used sort methods to the lower toolbar. I have added by name (ascending) and by date (descending) to quickly switch between these two modes, which I use the most.

Ah, yes, internal command. Excellent, thank you!

I found button commands that you can tap twice to toggle for ascending / descending.
