[TC 11.02] Problem with F3 / Shift+F3 in sync tool

Just noticed, that some F3 and Shift+F3 does not work sometimes in sync tool after compare.
BTW, right mouse click and then click menu for F3/Shift+F3 works normal.
I've just found that it can fail just in random moment: just after dirs comparation and trying to F3 or Shift+F3 on any file, or after successful viewing by F3 of any previous/next file in folder...
Can anyone provide some more tests to understand the reason of this?

I just can confirm that I also faced with such problem. But unfortunately it was not possible to make it reproducible easily.

Never had problems with F3/Shift F3 in the sync tool
and I use it a lot.

May be some help there..
I often use sync and F3/Shift+F3 tor compare ZIP/RAR/7z and saw the problem there.
Can't remember if I could see the problem for Folder<>Folder or Folder<>Archive cases...

Could you provide a sample archive (by e-mail to cghisler at gmail dot com) with which this happens? I can't reproduce it here with the archives I tested.

Hmmmm, looks like reproducible case get stable phase...
Open SyncDir for folders structure which for sure will have some files on left panel - but not on a right and vice versa.
Now navigate to and select such single item on a SyncDir comparison "table". For ex, it will be the right variant.
And press SHIFT+F3 - this file will be opened. Now navigate and select file which does exist on a both sides.
Single F3 for viewing the left file from this pair now will not work.

Seems to be the same problem as here (SyncTool: first Click on [Close] after [Abort] doesn't work)

Heck, this bug turns out to be very floating. At the time when I achieved 100% reproducibility and described it, everything was 100%.
But now - when I opened Total again and tried to make a video to make it clear - how and where it doesn't work - it turned out that
now everything works((((((((((.... In other words, this is a very difficult bug to reproduce.
And at the same time, I can't remember doing any other additional actions in that period of time that I might not do now....

Yes, I remember the same in some cases. There should be one file on each side, then somehow you also may press "wrong" F3 to see right or "Shift+F3" to see left, then it also became broken for further F3/Shift+F3 view files in active sync window... I hope, that I don't miss something there.

I tried this a few times with different sync operations, but it never happened here, even when I pressed the wrong F3/Shift+F3 with a file on only one side.

There is one thing I noticed: F3/Shift+F3 does nothing when no file is selected. This happens in the following cases:
1. Use Ctrl+Click to un-select the current file
2. Use Ctrl+Shift+L or Ctrl+Shift+R to show/hide a copy direction

The reason is that F3/Shift+F3 opens all selected files for viewing, not the file under the cursor.
Maybe that's what you are experiencing?
