There is bug in TC Help or in TC program:

Help says:

Dialog box: Select duplicate files
Choose folders in which files can be selected
Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select multiple files, or the Spacebar.

Selection by Ctrl/Shift does not work. Only the clicking selects or deselects an item in the list of folders. Continuous range of items can not be selected by Shift.
So it could be repaired either in the Help according to the program behaviour or in the program to work according to the Help.

Confirmed, also in 64bit TC there is no caret showing which folder is accessible for selecting with spacebar. It has been like this since the "Select duplicate files" was introdiced with TC 8.50

I have now added selection with Shift+Click to Total Commander 11.03 RC1, please check it!
Furthermore, Shift+Cursor up/down can be used to extend the selection or unselect entries now.

This isn't using the normal "extended selection" where a single click would remove the selection from all entries except for the clicked one. I think that this is inappropriate here.
