some extra options for copy with verification

i might be alone in that, but the two features that i would love to have:
i do have verify (md5) option enabled for copying files enabled most of the time 'just to be sure',
but sometimes when i copy multiple files i suddenly realize that in this particular case it is
really not necessary (especially when i'm in hurry) - it would be nice to have checkbox still available
to uncheck during the operation instead of cancelling and doing it again (if it is multiple file operation)
but, more important - it would be nice to have option to somehow store checksums calculated
during that copy operations - they are calculated already, so it is nice time saving feature to store
them with (optionally) original\copied files, perhaps with some "calculated_during_file_operations"
suffix or something to avoid collisions with previously generated checksum files if they exist

btw - i LOVE 'Everything' integration, only found about this like a year ago and still can't believe that i never question what this checkbox stands for, it really should have some tooltip: "this allows to query database of an external program which can MASSIVELY speedup your searches"
due to "Everything' name i was under impression that it might include some hidden or system files or something like that, so i never bother to investigate it
perhaps extending name of this function to "use 'Everything' database\service' will give it more adopters?

No, it's not a database service.
Everything is a "Search Tool"

No, it's not a database service.
Everything is a "Search Tool"
it is a search tool that can be installed as a windows service and keeps it's own database of existing files
anyway, it is just an idea, perhaps it could be phrased much better, but from my experience - just having checkbox with 'Everything' next to it isn't descriptive enough to explain what it does whatsoever
use 'Everything'
connect to 'Everything'
or something similar makes one think, 'Everything' alone just implies that 'everything' will be searched

If you are unsure, simply click on the “Help” button in the “Find Files” window to get information on the “Everything” topic.
There are also forum users who state the tool 'Everything' version number they use in their signature [with download link].
Windows 11 Pro (x64)
Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.2605) - 2024-12-10
TC 11.50 x64/x86 |
'Everything' 1.5.0.1391a (x64)
'Everything' on the Total Commander homepage
Search queries: Total Commander <=> 'Everything' <= Windows Search

im talking about people that don't know what Everything is (kind of bad name for program btw)
i consider myself power user, i've put together hundreds od pc computers, installed and configured hundreds windows systems from NT 4.0 to W11, but until i have actually searched for ways to improve total commander search speeds i had no idea what it might be for, even though i have seen it thousands of times - it is just this one word with another meanings, that don't imply it is used to connect to a 3rd party software
in my opinion - it should be clearer what it does, word or two more will make huge difference for those that are not aware of Everything exsitence
sure it is in help, but what percentage of users read help files in search of new, unknown features when they don't really have any problem?
