I am a big Total Commander fan... and if there was more software it would probably get a lot of users... maybe...

Mr. Ghisler has done a tremendous job. Not only he wrote the greatest file manager, he also could generate a cultish group of loyal users. But success brings complacency; he is not doing much innovation lately. Any good thing can be further improved. Mr. Ghisler could focus on innovation and improving TC further.

Doing TC is enough for one person :D

Definitely so. Yet, it is up to Christian to decide what he wants to do, poll or no poll, even if 100% of all voters tell him to sit down and work on TC. He is a free man, isn't he?

Yep, you're absolutely right. And as there are many great browsers and mail clients available, I'd rather see Christian to further improve TC, and this surely is already work enough for one man...

Don't worry, I'm currently very busy adding some really great new functions, some of which you find discussed here in the forum. But this takes time to get it right, so please be patient!

You should really do that. The competition doesn't sleep: http://forum.speedproject.de/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4429
On the other hand improving existing functions is as important as adding new functions. And you are right: This takes time!

Nope - I think TC is the best file manager ever been made (not only for Windows platform...) and author (Mr Ghisler) should focus ONLY on this brilliant project!!!

Yes, it should make TC for Linux too.
(all the other Linux alternatives are dissapointing and don't come close to TC - despite what others try to say).
