Position problem when running total commander

Post by *aksmfakt132 »

When I run Total Commander, it always runs in a weird position on my 2nd monitor. (It's always the same position.) I want it to run in the desired position every time I run it. At least it would be nice if it ran in the normal position.
How do I do this?

1. Move the TC window to a desired position.
2. Then hit 'Configuration' in the TC Menu, then hit 'Save Position'.

If you have multiple monitors, you can save the position on each of them separately.
1. Move Total Commander to the secondary monitor and resize to the desired position
2. Choose menu "Configuration" - "Save position"
3. Repeat for other secondary monitors
4. Move Total Commander to the primary monitor on which you want to open it initially
5. Choose menu "Configuration" - "Save position"

This order is important because Total Commander will always start on the monitor on which you last used "Save position".
