Standard column problem !

Post by *TRSyntax »

Hey.

Im quite new to TC but im loving it already ! :D

I have one problem i can't solve though.. I've made two custom columns (one 'advanced' and one 'simple') and i want to use one of them as the 'standard' column when i enter TC, but i can't figure out how to do this :x
Every time i open TC or even open a new tab, this irritating column set appears and it's driving me COCO ! :(

Help me please ?

If XP, maybe you can solve that by using TweakUI

If it is XP, you can add a shortcut in your desktop over "C:\WINDOWS\system32\control.exe" this command is the control panel !
if you want more, you should also give a look Here !

Well.. The problem is not to enter the control panel. I got a custom button to do that in TC.. The problem is removing the directory from my computer :? I think explorer only hides the actual directory while TC sees the directory anyway ? Either that or a buggy :(

Currently there is no way to do it from TC.
You may support this way for next TC version.

If you want your TC to look the same each time you start it, you can disable all the options in "Configuration"→"Operation"→"Save on exit" and in stead make your TC look as you want it, including chosen custom columns and which folders that are shown in the panels etc. and then in stead use the "Configuration"→"Save Settings" option (that's how I prefer to work wit TC).
