T.C. helpfile: Where is OverrideDPI?

Post by *karlchen »

Hi, folks.

Is anyone able to locate the section about the parameter OverrideDPI in the Total Commander helpfile? It ought to be in chapter 4.b wincmd.ini, section about [Configuration]. Yet, I simply cannot spot it.

Checked helpfiles:
+ Total Commander 7.56a English
+ Total Commander 7.56a German
+ Total Commander 8.0ß17a English
+ Total Commander 8.0ß17a German

older History.txt wrote:24.04.07 Added: (Experimental, undocumented): wincmd.ini [Configuration] OverrideDPI=120 scales all dialog boxes (except for the main window!) to the given size in dots per inch. Normal is 96 dpi
Maybe still experimental?

Hm, would like to suggest entering stage #2 of the ongoing OverrideDPI experiment after almost 5 years:

Add the explanation to the helpfile and wait and see for another 5 years whether doing so will make the Windows help system crash ...
