-[TC8.5 bxx]Missing Item In Right Click File Menu

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-[TC8.5 bxx]Missing Item In Right Click File Menu

Post by *geko53 »

When clicking on a file with the right mouse buttom a file menu opens with different entries. While testing the 8.50 beta I found out that the entry of Norton Internet Security is missing - so I'm not any longer able to run a file scan via TC but have to go to the Explorer where the entry still can be found.

To visualize this I've made two screenshots - but not yet as this is my first post in this forum :) ...

Tot ziens

Not a bug of TC.
NIS itself hides his ShellExtension if the process has a another name than Explorer.exe:

Tx for your quick response, Holger...

Renaming the TotalCmd.exe to Explorer.exe works fine, now the context menu is shown including NIS... :)
